Melissa's neighbourhood

we received another task. as a conclusion of what we had learned before. it is devising resources for teaching the 4 language skills. i've been in group of 4. i was set to do the reading skill with regard to 'my neighbourhood' topic. i chose to do ebook for that because i found it suits the criteria of reading skill. it was a story- Melissa's neighbourhood. the story takes place in Melissa's neighbourhood. what buildings surrounding her neighbourhood. i chose to use restaurants, hospitals, bus station, post-office and shopping mall as the inputs in my ebook. it was amazing as i managed to do it alone with compilation of all skills that i had learned such as internet skills, photo editing and audio editing. once again, i used Midi music to accompany children while reading. it's called the nutcracker midi music. i love that. i thought children would love that too. the activity that i chose is While-reading as the story appears to be short and applicable for reading-aloud. after they read, the teacher give task sheets for each pupil. that's how reading assessment takes place. to see how much they understood towards the story. for this task, i didn't find any difficulties to complete it but rather, i felt thankful as i managed to applied what i had learned in class is a succeed.
